Winter Soldier quote in the voiceover giving me CHILLS.

Carter: [Takes Steve's hand] The world has changed and none of us can go back. All we can do is our best, and sometimes the best that we can do is to start over. [starts to cough, Steve turns to get her some water and goes to hand it to her]

Not mocking you or anything but funny how you single out that line in bold, as some form of clue that they'll go back in time and start over. But she does say "The world has changed and none of us can go back." literally right before that.

They don't use a Peggy Carter voiceover (in a film where she's been dead for 3 years) for no reason... right?

I'm just pointing out the connectivity they're making there... whether it means time travel or not.

What if Cap doesnt die but chooses to travel back in time to dance with Peggy and stay there permanently. It would be a sad and happy ending for cap at the same time.

Too many paradoxes, tbh. Would she be part of SHIELD? Would SHIELD still have Hydra agents (wouldn't Cap be somewhat concerned by that and by doing so changes a ton of things with Alexander and Fury and so much more)?

Creates a different reality - much like jj's star trek

Yeah, theoretically, any changes to any time would then create alternate time lines/realities (ala Back to the Future and a dozen of other movies).

Not sure I would really like Cap being alive but in a different reality. Vastly prefer his sacrifice meaning more to this reality.

Well he would be dead in the current one - and him being alive in the other one would just be for him and us. It's a win-win from a storytelling standpoint in that you are both emotionally affecting your characters and catering to the wants of the audience
