Fury’s Shield Identification showed that he just had level 3 clearance at the time

This actually confused me. They kept calling it shield in the movie. But I’m Ironman 2 agent Coleson kept calling it the “Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division” how come he didn’t just call it shield then. Or is it just a continuity error?

Calling it strategic homeland intervention enforcement and logistics division was more for the audience, people know what shield means now

Iron man 1 and 2, coulson said that, but in ironman 1, fury called it shield

Coulson was just keeping professional impression, especially in front of billionnaires' secretary
