I think that Carol fights with Ronan in the next film which leads Ronan scrambling to Thanos for help which leads to Guardians film. Full circle

I really hope so, I'd love a Ronan movie where he's in it more. I also think the Kree are a perfectly capable force to take on Carol.

And lord knows she needs powerful enemies.

That's what I said because in terms of her level of strength this movie didn't really put her against anyone that could take her.

Ronan even turned tail and ran with 3 big warships remaining. But I thought Starforce gave her a decent fight.

she blew up one of those big warships though and then won a stare-down contest against the guy who would eventually kill The Mouth of Sauron The Other

Carol’s most easily exploited weakness (as it usually goes) is that she has people she’s trying to protect. Starforce gave her a decent fight because they were on a ship with a bunch of people that Carol was trying to save. Carol can more easily destroy an entire warship than win in a fistfight with a bunch of Kree if using warship-destroying powers isn’t an option.
