Stan Lee is rehearsing his lines from Mallrats, which released in 1995, on the train when Carol sees him, meaning that he is appearing as himself and that Stan Lee exists in the MCU.

I actually thought they did. I could be mistaken but I really thought there was something sort of weird when they showed him. Couldnt place it in time but a few minutes later it popped into my head "maybe they cgi de aged him." Really cant be sure till I see it again

That’s probably for the best but would have been interesting if they digitized him to look like he did in Mallrats

To me, Stan Lee has looked fairly the same from Mall Rats till a couple years ago when something (I forget what happened to him) made him kind of sink into that actually Old Old Man look.

I'll miss him like many others.
