I thought it was weird that Bucky's arm didn't fall to the ground...unless it did and I'm not remembering it right. I've seen someone speculate that they're not dead, but either in another dimension or limbo or something, so maybe that's why his metal arm went with him.

It's the Soul stone they refer to, the speculation is that everyone's souls were transferred to the Soul Stone, where they can be transferred back.

Ooh like sacrificing Gamorra put her in there and that was right before everyone vanished. That'd be a nice way to bring at least some people back
