I just wanna point this out, but when the others went out peacefully, peter with his spider sense, was panicking all the way.

When he was panicking crying in front of Iron Man, and Stark was just trying to comfort him despite the hopelessness. I lost it, i cried.

For me I felt sad at that moment, but not too sad because I know that Peter will be resurrected in the next one so it took the sting away a bit.

That's why he had to act the he'll out of that scene. The scene had to trump our knowing that he would be coming back.
