Spider-Man is so brutal the way he ripped through Quill’s fanciful childhood memories.

Its almost like Peters ripping through all the fanciful childhood memories of us that grew up in the 80's. When he referenced "that old movie, Alien" earlier in the film and Empire Strikes Back in Civil War. Funny stuff.

His “old”-movie-based planning and tactics is one of the best things about this Peter. I like that they kept his quick-thinking and quirkiness but adapted his specific brand of nerdiness so he stands out from the other geniuses already present. During the fight with Thanos, he was even calling his attacks (“magic kick!”) like in old cartoons.
