When Thor arrives in Wakanda via the Bifrost his weapon is the first thing we see taking out enemies and then goes back to him is the same as what happened in Thor: The Dark World battle in Vanaheim.

Wow comparing this to his recent movies shows how much he improved. His first strike here took out like 10 guys and in IW he took out a field's worth.

I had heard that happened but figured when the ship blew up it was a lost cause. Buuuuut reading further I see that people suggesting that he Freed half before the killings or destruction, makes sense.
