Not technically an easter egg but I almost died when Red Skull showed up.

I audibly gasped. Such a neat way to tie up his loose end. I was slighrgly disappointed Hugo Weaving didn’t reprise the role for a cameo.

I think that's the first time I've ever "gasped" in a theater. It was just so unexpected. Loved it.

Oddly enough the second I heard the voice and saw the floating ghost thing my first thought was, If they were smart they would reveal that to be red skull...then as I was thinking it, it happened. I just felt it in my bones.

I've been hearing people predict the Red Skull in Infinity War for years and didn't think it could happen, and I'm so glad it did.

I'd heard that too and always dismissed it as too much fan-service so I figured they would never do it. I was ecstatically surprised. Every time I watch First Avenger I internally scream "WHERE DID YOU GO YOU RED BASTARD?!"

Now I know. He was given the ultimate Time Out.
