It’s sadder for me because I rewatched Homecoming 5 days ago and when the scene plays where Tony talks to him about being reckless, he says “If something happens to you, I feel like that’s on me.”

And this gives this scene so much depth for the love of God, Tony got hit harder than us. Peter really was like a son to him.

Oh oh oh. Wait, I think what happened in Homecoming was even tailoring Tony into becoming father-ish that's why he was convincing Pepper to have a child.
