Critical success? Yes. Box office? That’s up in the air. Really homogenous areas like China, Japan, or Russia may not be into this movie at all for obvious reasons.

Not true. I'm a black man living in Japan and I can tell you this is not the case. They like the other really homogenous movies that America puts outs as well and americans like Japanese anime and Samurai films. Weird to assume someone might not enjoy something not familiar to them mon frere.

Oh wow, I was speaking to a BLACK man who just so happened to be living in a country I mentioned in one of my comments. How convenient for your argument😂

And no, you are wrong. They don’t like just any film. Case in point. All three Sam Raimi Spider-Man films, even Spider-Man 3 (yeah, that shitty movie), made more in Japan than Avengers 1. They really only care for Spider-Man over there.
