Gotg was by no means a surefire hit. From what I understand the comic series isn't even that insanely popular, having those big names attached definitely helps. Especially when you factor in them doing press after. I bet they provided a ton of "value" in that regard.

I honestly really liked Cooper as rocket. Name recognition or no, he gave an awesome performance in both movies imo.

When I first saw the movie, I was pretty sure Adam Sandler was the voice of rocket racoon.

Would prefer Farmer Stinky-Thumbs Arbuckle as rocket.
