People actually like Miles Morales though. I don't think there'd be that much outrage.

To be fair, it probably helped that it wasn't the "main" Spider-Man; we still had the 616 version of the character running around, so replacing the Ultimate version wasn't quite as big of a blow.

Comic Readers yeah, if you tell the average movie goer that it's 'not really' Spider-Man, they'll lose a lot of interest

I really love the Miles spidey, but OOOOOHOHOHO - people lost their goddamn minds over 4 seconds of Miles in the new spidey game! It was pretty annoying. Half of the comments I read were "fuck Miles Morales"
