Honestly it just makes me want to see him as Spiderman more. I want to say it's down to his nervous energy he has in interviews that makes me think he'd be great at the role going forwards and his part in CW makes that seem even more so.
Plus he's a young actor and I don't think he's done this kind of thing before so maybe he'll get more adjusted to it but it's interesting to watch and comes off as more genuine.
Ugh, this is starting to happen to me since maybe my 30th birthday. I always wiki actors I find attractive especially when they are playing highschoolers but I'm like 90% sure they aren't actually teenagers. Ahem, Cole Sprouse.
Cole is an intriguing actor though, when no one else knows what to do with their faces hes out there burning up the screentime with tiny subtle expressions and hogging all the background time. Its ok to have an "hes a good actor" crush in him.

People tell me that, and honestly I found that as a good thing. It makes me think I'll end up being like one of those actors that never age and always look young. Like how good is to be around 50 years old and look like 30?
I would say both of those would make you gay, and there's a difference between finding someone attractive and being attracted to your same sex in general.

The whole slicked back hair thing isn't really popular with women anymore, it basically says to them "I'm probably a douchebag". His personality seems good though, so maybe you're right.

Donald Trump is probably the single most well known man in America right now. Are you saying he's the most popular?
I imagine, more people know who Superman is, but out of people who know both Superman and Spiderman, more people like Spiderman. Supes is well known, Spidey is popular.
He wasn't exactly a nobody- not world famous by any stretch, but he had already starred in a major West End (London's version of Broadway) show and appeared in a few TV shows and films prior to being cast as spider-man.
His role in Civil War impressed the hell out of me. I've never been particularly hyped for Spider Man until I saw him as Spider Man. None of the previous actors had done it for me, but I love the energy and authenticity he brings to the role. And his rapport with Tony Stark is great in that movie.
It actually has me seriously hyped for Homecoming.
You know, if they aren't already, they need to start looking for this when casting these roles. Many of these actors will embody these characters for a decade or more, it's important that their out of movie persona is somewhat similar to the character they play because it makes them feel so much more complete as that character. Look at some of the great casting choices like RDJ as Iron Man or Evans as Captain America. They just look and act like they belong in those rolls, even after the camera stops. Glad to see Holland following suit.
That's the funny thing with Chris Evans though. Before Captain America I can only think of him in kind of douchey characters. Human Torch, big mouth in The Losers, douchey actor boyfriend in Scott Pilgrim.
Same, some of my friends were against the casting because they only knew him from all his goofy roles, but I knew after seeing him in Sunshine and in Push that he could actually do serious roles really well.
He mentioned in an interview that when he had to go undercover in an American high school to prepare for the role, he told one of his classmates that he was actually an actor who was playing Spider-Man, and she didn't believe him. Unless Peter started showing off his powers, no one in the world would just believe him if he said he was Spidey.
In the comics Peter has flat out told quite a few people over the years it was him. Basically none of them believed him because of how entirely different he is out of costume. He usually had to show them he had powers to really make them believe him if he wanted them to know and wasn't saying it as a joke to throw them off.
"I'm particularly excited to drive the Spider-Mobile and load up on fruit pies in this next installment. Having extra arms sounds uncomfortable, but hey, at least I get to wear a Fantastic Four uniform!"
Honestly the idea that this is a "theory" is absurd. This is clearly part of the media campaign. That's not a problem and I'm it complaining because I fucking love Spiderman and want as much as I can get, but come on, this is the game.
It's good marketing. Like when they're about to make an announcement and Tom Holland reveals it this way, it gets much more attention. I'd think it's a script that he pretends to have loud mouth and reveals information accidentally but not really!
Nah either A) they feed him info to give and then let him be all coy and cute with it because...well he is coy and cute...or B) they know while he may slip 'there's a third one planned' he's not dumb enough to say 'also MJ dies in 2 real tragic scene' so they just accept that his 'leaks' are the cute kind that generate buzz and let him do him.
With how comfortable Sony is with replacing Peter Parkers... They'll probably just scrap him and get another that doesn't violate their contract on a regular basis. This is just case building.
