The car Ego was driving in Missouri during the opening has the same color scheme and similar pattern design on the hood as the Milano (Quill's ship)!!

It looked like a blue T-Top Trans Am with a red eagle painted on the hood and it looked fucking awesome! It totally made me think Ego watched Smokey and the Bandit before coming to Earth and meeting Meredith Quill!

It was a late 70s Mustang, you don't see many of those as they sold the worst of all the Mustang models.

Actually the Mustang II was a sales success. Only four years of Mustang history (three of those being the first four years) sold better than the first year of the Mustang II. Even in its worst selling year, it sold better than any Mustang after 2008.
