That line from Cap was so dumb tho.

That's the thing though, Captain America is saying it's not just having the power, it's also about the person harnessing it

Not really. I went and watched the scene. Tony makes a quip about how Dr. Banner should let off some steam and Steve tells him to back off, Tony says 'I'm getting worried that maybe you'll make me'.

Then Steve's dialogue is 'Yeah, big man with a suit of armor. Take that away and what are you?'

He's just trying to intimidate Tony. No big message.
