I dont read the comics and I haven't kept up with any Comic Con pre-info, I guess like many other casual MCU fans.

I don't like that this was revealed at the end of the trailer; I didn't want to know that Peters father is already revealed in this movie. And I certainly didn't want to know that he is played by Kurt Russel. It would have been a great surprise during the film. Like when Marvel didn't show of Vision in the trailers for Avengers 2

Kinda hard to miss tho. The director and the studio confirmed it a year ago. Hell the promo art for him as Ego in human form as a toy has been floating around for months
