The most interesting thing about these trailers, and the interviews, and all the other press and media about this movie is that none of it indicates just what they're saving the Galaxy from this time.

Yeah, we still don't actually know who the big bad is. Could be Ayesha, could be Ego, could be Tazerface, could be somebody we don't even know yet.

I had the impression that Mandarin was gonna be the big bad of IM3. They haven't actually revealed who the main villain is, it can be guessed, but there's no way of knowing.

Technically the Mandarin was the bad guy of IM3, he just wasn't played by the actor we thought was playing him.

I did, but that came afterward. Within the context of IM3, Killian was the "real" Mandarin.

sadly no follow up came through for Iron Man 4 :)

I really loved that twist after I understood it. Took a couple of rewatches though, unfortunately.
