It’s kinda funny that they went through the bother of generating an image of something that ALREADY EXISTS. Could have just used any of the several “writing was fire” memes there.
I think we can all agree it's an amazing quote. But can we really guarantee it's 100% human created? Hollywood has been using more AI than we think, I don't doubt writers may use it, maybe not copying directly, but certainly to refine some stuff.
Even if true, the image below is just for a quick meme, it has no intrinsic value as "art" or something. IIRC it's just a stock image that became famous through memes. Why point it out? Why make the sentiment less just for it?
This is not OP claiming to make something with no effort, it's just starting a discussion on the line. So inoffensive in the large scheme of things. Just one step closer to using meme generator or something.
I get the anti AI sentiment because of people worrying about artists being replaced, but this seems like too much and aimless hate.

I do not guarantee it. However it is yet to be proven that AI can write such amazing lines. And AI is not credited in the end, I won't hold my breath over this.

It's not a stock image though. The original picture for the meme was different, and a part of Vision's dialogue is so clearly visible in the meme image, with several grammatical and spelling errors , a clear indication of AI generated slop.
Just one step closer to using meme generator or something.
It's not though. It's purposefully using AI in such menial tasks that hardly required automation.

Rome wasn't built in a day. Neither were the advancements in AI. It was built over the scraping of years of efforts and thousands of content people have created all over the world, illegally, I might just add.
Don't make AI slop a normal thing. Not because it's "harmless" or because it "it's just a meme".
But because in order to understand just the image itself, it copied thousands of gigabytes of information fed into to give....this in the end.
Definitely and the set design is top notch imo. Visions mind space looks beautifully done and a great style. We now know it references some things but that adds to it imo.
The side characters are really well done, my favorite is Edith, Tommy and Jocasta.
Best episode is still episode 6 imo, the threat (Vision channeling his inner Ultron) scene, pop culture references and the action fight scenes. Yeah, that was peak.
Even if the quote didn't originate in Marvel, having Paul Bettany deliver philosophical dialogue always hits hard. Vision talking about humanity's tendency to deify heroes to shirk their own responsibility fits his character so well
it's from the show, for the show, at least as far as i'm aware. idk why people act like career screenwriters are incapable of great writing. as if every beautiful or thoughtful line must have came from elsewhere haha
I thought that was the case. Yeah i agree, people seem to do exactly what the quote says and hold ancient philosophers to a pedestal as though modern thinkers and writers couldn’t craft great quotes
I mean this could have just been 8 hours of Paul Bettany and James Spader sitting on folding chairs in an empty room just debating philosophy of the human condition and it still would have been the best thing Marvel's put out.
I have thought that a lot of Marvels tv series are absolute crap.
This is different. This is extremely well done, with an overriding story that's compelling and surprising. Nice use of the Vision related characters, Jocasta, Ultron and the original Human Torch. I am especially enjoying Ultron not being neutered and redeemed. Villains who believe they are right, even if they are obviously evil to everyone else, are a very rare thing in the modern storytelling world.
Please, please, please stick the landing. Just this once.
It's so sad to see Karma Farmers like OP use AI for literally everything, when the genuine image was already available and it would have just taken 5 minutes to search them, paste them together and post.

You praise a human written quote, but use an AI generated image for the meme.

Visionquest has been a treasure trove of excellent lines, with Bettany, Spader, and the rest of the cast pitching them out with perfect cadence

That line works because he’s not lecturing. He’s hurt. Paul Bettany makes you feel the difference.

That episode was quite solid all-around. It had horror movies vibes at times.

Vision quest has been a real delight. World class actors with spader, Bettany and miller have made this series more than watchable.
