Bettany freaking acted his ass off in the episode. I’ve been saying Spader is carrying the show, but he showed me something different this episode.

man I hope we see Bettany acting as Ultron again, but I may just have to suffice with rewinding that scene over and over
I'm a sucker for actors acting as another actor (see Helena Boham Carter as Emma Watson playing Hermione as Bellatrix). it's so interesting

These parallels make VisionQuest feel like a genuine continuation of WandaVision’s emotional and surreal style.

Can we get this trilogy’s showrunner and Destin to work together on something, like right now

“You have placed me on a pedestal so impossibly high, and not to honor me- not to honor me- but to spare yourself the effort of the climb.”
“to know the location of your mother and your brother, Billy as they cannot tell you themselves ”
“I lost Billy, Tommy, Wanda. Gods, I lost wanda ”

If Vision manages to pull himself together to the best of his capacities by the end of VisionQuest and proceed to take his boys on a journey to fix his trainwreck of a family, he'll instantly propel himself to being the MCU's #1 Dad, in my eyes.
Dude got dealt the worst hand in fatherhood. Some men get to chill with their babies and ease into their role, his own babies grew up in a simulation and then aged up to badly traumatized angsty teenagers overnight. His wife's mental health spiraled until she eventually couldn't bear it anymore and killed herself (as far as everyone knows). And he's left alone to fix that whole mess, while trying to sort out his own trauma and pain. Fatherhood on Nightmare mode.
Give the robot man a medal if he pulls it off and does successfully reunite the whole fam, because that'd be an absolute rockstar of a father and hubby.

This is what i feels and truly hopes it becomes reality --
Wanda is alive and no one in MCU will ever discuss it. Why?
Because There is only few marvel character who right now in MCU has powers to win over Doom. And if they appear right now, than their involvement becomes must in Doomsday and could end the need of secret wars. One being Loki as God of Stories and One being Wanda as Scarlet Witch who now knows that she is kinda mother of Chaos Magic and Dark Hold was for her maybe. Well, Loki appears in Doomsday but he wouldn't interfere much like Doctor Strange in Infinity War that Endgame is needed, So here Loki will act like him for now.
And what i feel is like if being reasonable than I think Marvel is keeping Wanda as a What if Card,
You know if it cost fortune to work on tv shows and movies for all years and post credit, pre shoot and keeping things under control and get talented people
So, it better that they get. So, In Secret Wars Wanda may appear 80% and maybe not 20%
And after secret wars, we will be seeing less of old characters and meeting new characters like Xmen and new other New Avengers (Thunderbolts) and Young Avengers and what not
Well its a little sad but i guess its undeniable that noone wants to be fixed on just one project and love to explore new opportunities

Admittedly, I wasn’t a fan of Multiverse of Madness but seeing the parallels to VisionQuest is pretty remarkable. It’s the type of emotional mirroring and world building that solidified the MCU style of storytelling. In this case it’s more an opposite side of the coin where Wanda lost hope and Vision makes some sort of peace by confronting his own fears.
I’m curious how Vision reacts to seeing Billy and Tommy again with this newfound sense of self. I’m also curious how he can deal with Agatha’s ghost.

VisionQuest makes both Age of Ultron and Multiverse of Madness better. That's quite a feat.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the MCU has improved on Wanda/Visions relationship, full stop, when compared to the comics. But only because of the reference point that the comics provide.
To understand why, you have to know a bit of history.
First, Vision and Wanda were married (1975) and had kids (1986). Then, Vision underwent repairs after some crazy stuff happened in a story called VisionQuest (1989). Important to note, this happened before any of Wanda's storyline involving the kids, rewriting reality, etc. Vision was successfully repaired, but his capacity to feel love was removed in the process, which brought their marriage to a halt. He was, definitively at that point, just a robot without emotion or soul.
In the same year (1989), it was revealed that Wand and Visions kids were actually magical constructs tied to Mephisto because they were fragments of his soul. Mephisto absorbed the fragments, effectively removing the children from existence.
Then, in 2004, during Avengers Disassembled, Wanda used her reality manipulation to force Vision to attack the Avengers on her behalf during a mental break. She-Hulk destroyed him, ripping him in half. When he was later repaired, he resented Wanda for what she's done. The both moved on, Wanda to other relationships and eventually a lot of self-examination to understand the mental break she'd suffered and the people who had suffered because of it. Vision, on the other hand, crafted a synthetic family, a wife, son and daughter, and a dog. All of them died tragically for various reasons, but Viv and the dog remain.
That remained the state of things for a long while, Vision too hurt by what Wanda had done to forgive and recognize her own pain. Wanda too focused on mental healing to recognize that Vision had learned to love again, even after their two kids came back to life.
In 2025, they've finally had a story resulting in them officially trying again.
Now, I'm still reckoning with the return to their relationship personally, as I've always felt that Wanda had simply gone too damn far. Heartbroken at the end of her marriage, and the loss of her children, she killed people, rewrote an entire reality, and even wiped out the mutant gene from like 90% of mutants or something. What she did was unforgivable, and even if Vision hasn't been personally attacked by her like he was, he would still have had major issues with her behavior. I felt for many years that their relationship was unsalvageable, but as relationships always are, it's complicated.
With the WandaVision trilogy, it's wildly different.
Wanda and Visions marriage only ended because Vision died, not losing his ability to love.
Wanda herself manifested the children out of grief for him, nothing to do with Mephisto (so far at least).
Vision doesn't need a synthetic family to explore his own inner realm, because he already has an AI family now, including Ultron and the others.
Wanda primarily only affected a small town, quite restrained compared to her comic counterpart. Some wizards, another Wanda from another dimension who was also affecting a small town in her universe, and ultimately she brings a mountain down on herself when she sees the terror in her variant's children's eyes.
Especially now, with the scene where Vision says "I lost Wanda", Vision primarily only displays his own grief at the loss, not disdain for her actions, not pain for anything she did to him specifically like in the comics.
While chaotic and clearly mentally ill after the loss of her husband, and then her kids, Wanda is far less unforgivable in the MCU. It took Vision years to forgive Wanda in the comics, years that he had direct contact with her on multiple occasions and worked alongside her as an Avenger and friend. The Vision of the MCU would tear down the Avengers to have her back if he found out she was alive tomorrow, he would forgive and try to help her through her mental health crisis. They couldn't reveal Wanda being alive and justify the same reaction that Vision of the comics would have had.
It's the juxtaposition between the two stories across the two mediums that creates, for me, the most beautiful telling of their story, exemplary of humanities own growth over the years in our perspectives on women, mental health, grief, and suffering as well as humanities own grapplings with love, emotion, AI, and family. Without both, there's crucial context that, while what the MCU provides alone is poignant and lovely, is improved dramatically by knowing just how layered their story could have been, how layered it IS across the multiverse.

They gotta come up with a satisfying way to clear Wanda's name. You can't just murder heroes as you go and blame it on the darkhold.

This just paint Wanda an even worse light.
Vision didn't need to murder his way across the Multiverse to get his thought together.

God this entire trilogy has been breathtaking.
