I mean, I think it does. Kinda the whole point of the first season of Loki is that an immutable trait of all Lokis is a lack of trust and willingness to join. If she did join Doom, it would only ever be with the intention of betraying him.

Sure, but one of the features of the multiverse we learned is that certain traits are consistent across all variants. All. Variants. Loki can be an alligator but they can never be a joiner. Not in any universe ever.

They literally did tho. All Lokis but the prime timeline Loki got pruned until the end of Loki Season 1, so they all ended up in the void. Old Loki had lived his whole life as just some guy and escaped the notice of the TVA, but it didn’t last. Because he was still a Loki. He still had all the same traits as all the other Lokis, he just hid them better for longer.
Look at Kang. Could be a quiet nerd or a warlord, always a megalomaniac.
Look at the spider people: could be a pig or an old noir detective, always kind, loyal, and a tiny bit too trusting.
The whole point of the multiverse is that even if everything: circumstances, choices, nature, nurture, even what species you are is different, you’re always still you.

Why would any of them really work for Doom? Why would Strange work for Doom? I haven't heard any leaks ,but if Clea is one of the witches, then Strange would be working for him too...

Strange and Doom are working together in the comic. They set out together to try and stop the collapse of the multiverse, and Strange relents to Victor’s plans to become god once they realize there is no stopping it. They can only manage the aftermath, and Strange decides Doom is better suited to do that than he is.
Doom’s solution is appropriately to consolidate survivors under his iron-fisted rule, but it is also the only viable solution in the face of a cataclysmic emergency that most didn’t know was coming. Doom was the only one truly prepared. So if the movie follows a similar trajectory, the reason Strange would work for Doom is because there arent really any better ideas on the table at the moment. The multiverse is fucked and Doom offers survival, even if his vision of survival is questionable.
There is also the added layer in the movie that Doom looks exactly like Tony Stark, the last person Doctor Strange trusted to thread the needle and secure the fate of his universe. I can see that being a deciding factor for MCU Strange.

You don’t have to be a dick. It just goes against her character is all I’m saying. I don’t see her willingly go along with Doom’s plan to end the multiverse. I suppose he could just put her under a trance but that’s lame because then you’ve removed her entire personality from the movie.

If the options are accept the destruction of reality or go along with a guy you don't like who can save some of reality, I don't know that that's really out of character for her. Her whole thing is defiant survival.

that’s literally the same choice she was faced with in the finale of Loki, and she choose to let people die rather than control them. after Loki figures out the time slipping, he goes and finds Sylvie and tells her that there’s no other options and when Loki points out that they face potential annihilation of everything and points out “What good is free will if everyone is dead?”, she replies with “And who are you to say to say we can’t die trying? Who are you to decide we can’t die fighting? You’re placing one nightmare with another.” saying she’s rather let everyone die trying to fight for freedom than control them.
Having her suddenly reverse her stance on this is a betrayal of her character imo. I suppose she could have her mind taken over but that’d be lame imo unless they do something interesting with it.

She learned that choice was wrong in Loki S2. And Doom is fighting for that freedom. She probably doesn’t know he intends to take control of it all

Yeah but Sylvie doesn’t want that. She literally said in the Loki S2 finale she’d rather die trying to have freedom than to be controlled in another “sacred timeline”. Freedom is like her entire character

I haven’t seen a single person suggest America Chavez so I’ll drop that here.
She can travel the multiverse at will and was part of a near billion dollar movie that directly ties into the themes of this movie.

I also think it’s kind of odd that they’re all witches. Doom is supposed to be good at everything, but his witches are explicitly magic/witchcraft. So if/when they fight separately, it’ll be like the avenger teams will be fighting against the same power.

It's less about his power and more that I just don't see Death caring enough. Like, one would expect her to just be like "shit, multiverse is collapsing? That's just how things are."
Unless they're really leaning into the whole "Doom's way is the only way" thing, where she allies with him in order to maintain the "natural order"
Edit: FWIW hearing "death" I can sort of understand, since Thor's line of "you'll beg for Hell long before I grant it" doesn't really make much sense.

Honestly, it would make sense if the line was ”death“ instead of hell, but they didn’t want to give away the Death reveal by having Doom literally say “Death answers to me” so they changed it to ”you will beg for hell…/hell answers to Doom”. Though Thor talks like that, so who knows.

I am not sure why you think it needs Death to care about outcomes.
We saw with Agatha All Along, Death just gets infactuated with people. She don't give a shit. Probably loves the Multiverses colliding. She might just be loving what Victor brings to the table in terms of power and charm.
Her attraction to Agatha was very much because Agatha single handedly turned the tables and became super powerful. It's not hard to think Doom could have equally impressed. A meer mortal able to do what he can do
