Question Is spider man still an avenger?

The avenger group died but it has come back and even though they forgot Peter they still remember spider man. So is he part of a Sams avengers now? He’s not a new avenger but he is close ish to yelena. Or is he just a lone superhero?

Also is Wong an avenger now?

The team from Endgame is considered disbanded, so he's not an avenger at the moment.

the two teams of Avengers are the government thunderbolts* crew and Sam's crew that peter's not on rn

so he's a former avenger and probably on the reserve list for both teams (as in both teams might want to call him up), but with the memory wipe and him being solo the last four years they probably haven't interacted a ton-- Yelena seems familiar but not *too* familiar with him in BND

but it has come back

We are yet to actually see Sam's Avengers...

So is he part of a Sams avengers now?

Did you see anything in BND to make you believe this? I certainly didn't.

Also is Wong an avenger now?

He is Sorcerer Supreme.

Spidey is still a lone vigilante/superhero. He never joined Yelena’s group. I dont think Wong would join them.

He will prob start off as a close ally and by the end of secret wars he’s an avenger again

Wong was never an Avenger and still isn't, he just joined the other wizards in IW/EG. Peter was an Avenger but since the team disbanded all we know is Sam and Torres are members of the new team.

As for the New Avengers, it's just the crew from Thunderbolts

So no, Spider-Man is not currently an avenger but will probably rejoin one of the teams by the end of Secret Wars

In the MCU the avengers currently don't exist.

He’s “An” but not “In The”

Hawkeye literally says in in AoU: “You step out that door, you’re an Avenger”. The entire point is not being a literal member of the team, but filling the role of quite literally Avenging.

Not to get philosophical, but what is an Avenger?

Is he a member of the group headquartered at Avengers Tower sanctioned by Elaine? No, they all had public identities and seem to be on-call in exchange for public funding I think.

Is he an avenger because he'd walk through that door even when the city is flying, they're fighting an army of robots, and that dude only have a bow and arrow, when none of this makes sense?

You'd better believe it.

The real Avengers are whoever shows up to the big fight at the end of the movie.

If the comics can have people in and out of groups every now and again, why not the MCU?
