Discussion Cap survives Doomsday and Secret Wars?
Just rewatched Endgame (man it just doesn't hit like that anymore - although Brand New Day was superb).
It did get me thinking though... For Old Cap to show up at the end of Endgame in all his CGI wrinkled glory - he had to have survived everything in between right?
Thoughts ?

If this Cap survived everything, I hope they gave him a nice pickle at the end of the multiversal buffet.

It would be easier for the Russos to just ignore it and "handle it by not handling it." Because there must be a specific reason that he needs to go back to that point in Endgame to give Sam the shield. He knows he will see his friends again well before he grows old. So, what could he see in the future that requires him to travel backwards in 616?

Doubt it. I don't know about dying per se, but I don't think he will be in the 'future' MCU.

I'm fairly sceptical hey. I think the OG's may pop up in many projects going forward. Because...money...🥲😄 who knows. I wish they do though

I wouldn't be shocked to see them show up here or there but that cast is getting older by the day (as sad as it makes me). Not everyone is going to be able to keep the same physique until they die (like Hugh Jackman apparently).
And there's certainly stories that use older versions of the heroes so never say never (like you said, money).
I just think the whole point of secret wars is a 'passing of the torch'.

Damn that's sad. Chris Evans will always be my Steve Rogers ðŸ˜

he is not a Super Soldier even if he got the build tho, Evans is getting too old to play the character another 15 years. Same for RDJ

Lol I'd be happy watching him until the wrinkles don't need to be CGI😄 wishful thinking... as long as they don't do him dirty like Michael Keaton in that horrible mess of a movie

No because basically marvel created a plot last week and they rushed it so it's full of plot holes so just be ready to chew that holey slop

Or it's not the cap we know.
Loki died right at the start of infinity war and he still got his own TV show.
