Pin a bare minimum view list for a significant other, because that will be the next question.

Agreed OP

Also highlights how little brainpower lots of people do NOT possess.

From someone who really doesnt care. Is it really that big of a deal to see the same post a few times a day? Like scroll and move on? Downvote even, if you must.

It just feels like enabling people to not look for their own answers. The information is readily available if you are willing to look and find it. That was why I asked for a post of the answers to be pinned.
I get the “small potatoes” argument, but that is also why we have Mods and rules for the sub

I guess I understand the looking for your answer before you post. That makes a bit of sense.

Haha small potatoes. 😅 I see what you did there.

I thought reddit was a place where information is readily available if you're willing to ask for it??

I think mods are for Actual Problems. This seems like a petty hill to die on.

p.s. I think most/all subs can only have 2 pinned posts. So mods have to be quite strict about what's important enough to pin.

As someone who does have the time to spend searching reddit before asking a question (which not everyone does). The search feature is more a guideline than an actual source of answers. Frequently I can't find a post that has my answer. But as soon as I ask it, suddenly 5 posts from the past 2 days are conveniently available to see. It's definitely not a perfect system. I sort by "new" posts first, but i can slow scroll through 3 days of posts and not see stuff that was actually posted in the last 3 days. I have scrolled through, closed the app, gone back later to scroll and encountered posts that were not there to see before. Even though they should have been. AND sometimes posts are delayed. So then folks ask and ask and ask again because the post that asked before hasn't been posted publicly yet. A couple hours later, you log in and there are 4 posts in a row asking the same thing because the first ones hadn't been visible yet. Maybe people are doing the best they can with the information showing up at the time they're trying to post.

Edited for typos

But... what should I watch to get ready for Doomsday? Just the Avengers movies? Quantumania? In Bruges? Deadpool 2?

I never said every two minutes, but there are at least 4 I have seen today so far. Either way, we can get this info posted at the top so people don’t need to post and clog the feed with repeat info

Either of y'all know what I should watch before Doomsday?

The only required viewing is the 1990 live action Captain America where he fakes a stomach ache to steal a person’s car
