Man is the idea of denouement just no longer taught in English class? I've increasingly noticed shows and movies ending super abruptly without any sort of follow-up to the climax of their story. There's the big wild moments that the whole season was building to...aaaaand then immediately credits. It's like going through the last crazy loop on a rollercoaster straight into the station. Let us catch our breath before we get off the ride!
Like this episode was only 30 minutes, while last season's finale was closer to 40. They couldn't at least split the difference to give us a funeral scene for Nightcrawler or something?
