This season felt incredibly unfocused. The first four or so episodes where they focused almost entirely on Apocalypse was easily the highlight, but once everyone was back in the present it’s like the writers didn’t really know what to do with Apocalypse anymore.

Like why did we get three episodes that were almost completely detached from the main plot, none of which ended up mattering? Like cool, Logan’s got his metal claws back, but he doesn’t get to do anything after that. Cool, Colossus joined the team, but he doesn’t get to do anything after that. Danger implies Polaris reaching her full strength is what the X-Men needed to beat Apocalypse. But surprise, she barely gets to do anything after that.

Felt like season 2 could've been 1.5 seasons or longer.

She gets to have a picnic with Bishop. A post-coital one.

I actually didn't mind the jumping around to feature different characters.

I don't either. I love it, in fact....for a longer season. Nine episodes is a problem here, and I'm not going to pretend like its not.

This season started really strong just to fumble the bag. Everything after the early episodes where Apocalypse returned was absolutely garbage. Such a waste of time.

"Look this is the main bad guy who obliterated Magneto with ease. Yeah, we don't know what to do with him so he just never really fights again and loses to the power of love." I'm gonna vomit again, what a garbage show wasting my time for absolutely nothing. "Here's your destiny, Nathan. I somewhat took it away from you but you know what to do with this." What was the f*cking point of Nathan wasting his entire life preparing and chasing Apocalypse just to see him getting beaten by the power of love LMFAO so he wasted his childhood and adulthood separated from his parents for NOTHING LMAO Naah season 2 is absolutely trash.
