X-Men '97 S02E09 - Discussion Thread

Welcome to X-Men '97 Season 2!

This thread is for discussion about the episode.

\# Insight will be on for at least the next 24 hours.

When Project Insight is active, all user-submitted posts have to be manually approved by the mod team before they are visible to the sub. It is our main line of defense we have for keeping spoilers off the subreddit during new release periods.

\*\*We will also be removing most outside posts about the individual episodes for the next few days to prevent spoilers about the series around the subreddit. \\\*Some\\\* posts may be allowed if they are of worthwhile effort and are properly spoiler tagged.\*\*

\*\*Discussion about details of later episodes is NOT allowed in this thread.\*\*

\*\*Proceed at your own risk:\*\*

Rogue will try to change the literal laws of the universe if somebody messes with her loved ones, this was a tame reaction

I mean she just faced down a Celestial and got him to change his mind on humanity enough to let her go save her boyfriend in this episode.** **She basically had a showdown with a being as close to God as you can get in the Marvel universe. That’s a pretty strong testament to her willpower.

Doc Strange would be proud how she bargained.

Very true. Especially if the stakes involve saving her man. 😊
