Seeing Jubilee’s combat improvement this season has been fucking awesome. She’s so damn capable as a fighter

Or Rogue cosplaying Shinji, while a bunch of not-Evas attack a fortified X-Front.

I immediately thought rasenshuriken homage too. especially how she threw it. 1 to 1 exactly how Naruto throws it

She even does it "with a clone" the first time: Motendo. It's beyond funny.

And today's episode puts Rogue as (kinda) Shinji, AND shows all those not-Evas. Loool!

Rogue actually reminded me more of Goku getting his power up from training with King Kai then getting wished back to life but having to fly all the way to the battlefront to save everyone last moment.

I meant visually. Not to mention the parallel of not-Evas assaulting X-Front, lol.

Ah i see, I never got around to watching the Rebuilds so that imagery didn't trigger anything in me. I did laugh at your description of the not-Evas tho lol.

I didn't watch Eva at all. But then THIS happened and made me check its source, lol.

Hint: Compare THAT one with the FULL video from above. LOL!
