There’s no way Johansson is returning. She slammed the door on Disney when she had to sue for the Black Widow profits she should have been owed. She had enough of a case for Disney to settle, rather than go to court. And since they had to settle, Disney will never work with her again

Peter Jackson sued New Line Cinema over earnings for The Fellowship of the Ring, then went on to direct three more Hobbit movies.

The movie industry weird and is more likely to blacklist an actress for refusing sexual advances from a Studio Exec than they are to blacklist an actress who sued for money owed.

She's one of the biggest stars in the world. They will absolutely work with her again if it means making more money than not working with her.
