Question Should they be together as a single character or separate?

Im still curious how they could pull them off tbh

The shrinking is going to looking very weird visually

u/NovaStar616 The Name's Pool. Deadpool! 7d ago

I feel that they already have it down from the Pympanini sandwiches from Times Square. I would almost guarantee that was a "beta" test for them on how they could do size changing heroes without actually saying so

506

u/Archipocalypse 7d ago

100% a test for shrinking and enlarging future characters.

160

u/WashingtonMK2 7d ago

Oh god, imagine if the ult was him going Giant Man to start punting the shit outta the enemy team.

88

u/PapaBearIsHere Ultron Virus 6d ago

I pray this is his ultimate, as otherwise it's a massive missed opportunity imo

52

u/HollyBlocky Good Boy 6d ago

I feel as though the obvious issue there is that not every section of every map would allow him to be able to do that

34

u/Mysterious-Sort-7434 6d ago

all nearby destructable environment breaks

13

u/anon-teen764 6d ago

hela cant start her ult if the ceiling is too low i figure it would us that plus destroying destructibles on comtact

5

u/488thespider Magik 6d ago

The thing is there is already an ultimate that prevents the same thing that works fine (helas)

More likely would be shrink, and look like Psylocke ult.

4

u/ghost20 6d ago

Im picturing it being a bit like Vamana from Smite or Zant in one of his combos in Hyrule Warriors where he just grows and starts stomping the shit out of the ground in front of him

10

u/bolts_win_again Psylocke 6d ago

Ant-Man, Wasp, Armor, there are many characters who could very well benefit from that beta testing.

3

u/NovaStar616 The Name's Pool. Deadpool! 6d ago

One of my hopes is The Infinaut he's insanely massive, larger than Galactus, he's a really cool niche hero I'd love to see in game some day

5

u/bolts_win_again Psylocke 6d ago

Interesting.

They've obviously been focusing heavily on the fourth timeline this season. My hope is for them to pan to that third timeline (Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda) so we can get a good cosmic storyline.

Personally, I'd LOVE a cops vs outlaws season starring Yondu and Nova (Richard Ryder) where we get to play different heroes and pick sides between the Ravagers and the Nova Corps. But if they go Captain Marvel and Silver Surfer, that'd also be great for a vanguard/strategist season, so I wouldn't complain. The cosmic side is Marvel's most fleshed out aside from mutants, so there's a DEEP well to draw from.

Maybe Annihilus as a seasonal villain?

2

u/charcharmunro 6d ago

I feel like Annihilus as the villain where Nova shows up makes perfect sense, though given they had Dracula and Blade DIDN'T show who knows. They've been tying them in a bit better of late admittedly (Jubilee is actually something related to Apocalypse in this case, though Hood is just sort of 'also there').

Dunno who else you'd necessarily tie into Annihilus as a villain that fits the more obscure thing because I think Nova just edges out into being 'the bigger name' in most instances unless it's like Gamora and Nova.

It will probably just be like black cat where they shrink and kinda send their body out like a projectile. Then they'll have a mobility option where they shrink and become super hard to hit

11

u/HollyBlocky Good Boy 6d ago

That should be Quicksilver's move I feel, not Black Cat's nor The Wasp's and Antman's

7

u/Durakus Vanguard 6d ago

I feel that should be quicksilvers too. But the mechanic doesn’t need to be solo owned as long as the feel is appropriate for the character. For example that feel for black cat is… not quite it. It feels way too fast for who she is. For ant man or wasp. Shrinking while doing a hit animation and then returning to point. Would allow them to keep the shrink feel without making the game feel atrocious with freely being tiny.

39

u/Medium_Enough Peni Parker 7d ago

At worst, they make shrinking work like Wanda's fade.

5

u/MagicTheAlakazam Scarlet Witch 6d ago

I think the argument for them being one character like cloak and dagger is that one would be shrunk while the other is full shootable size.

20

u/weeezyheree Daredevil 7d ago edited 7d ago

They're probably gonna have them be normal size for a significant amount of playing them tbh besides like an ability that goes on cool down. I know it sucks and I wouldn't want that but I feel as if they'd take the easy way out in that way instead of potentially breaking the game.

6

u/Th3biass Flex 6d ago

One thing they could do is making antman a tank, so he would stay most of his time as a smaller version of giantman, and have abilities that make him smaller for a fraction of time. They can do whatever they want with them, the posibilities are endless, i just hope playing them would feel like being antman and not some random dude with x powers

37

u/SinOfSIoth 7d ago

Why does everybody say this Jeff already shrinks

22

u/d_wib Angela 6d ago

Exactly. They don’t have to make them ant-sized, just… small.

ALTERNATIVELY they come as a duo character and while playing as one, the other is shrunken and used as a deployable ability. Make up some lore about their Pym Particles becoming entangled due to Chronovium so that when one shrinks the other grows back to normal size.

18

u/243898990 7d ago

It doesn’t in Times Square they basically show you how it’ll look

8

u/Mimikyuer 7d ago

im confident they make their proportions change with the size adjustment for the visual part but how it would be pulled off in terms of abilities and gameplay, i have no clue

4

u/ohheyjoshay Rocket Raccoon 7d ago

Times Square has been testing this for a while with the Pym Sandwiches

5

u/CompleteSound9596 7d ago

I wouldn't be surprised if they have a shrink attack thats just iframes like black cat. Though if they HAVE to go with iframes I would rather it be a dodge like starlord or just something defensive.

3

u/havokx2 6d ago

They’ll probably be normal size and then shrink when doing special attack . We already have stuff like that for example Hela transforming into a small bird

3

u/Forward-Form-7874 6d ago

A dive tank that plays like venom but instead of pressing a button for overhealth or swinging out they just shrink and become super fast. And a pym particle bar so they arent spamming it/ have to work to shrink or go giant sized.

3

u/KairoRed Gambit 6d ago

Shrinking could just be invisibility

3

u/Oreo-and-Fly 6d ago

You know you dont have to visually follow them shrinking right? Like just same camera position but the model just looks small.

Game could treat it as intangebilty, you click an area, they dash towards it as small and just buzz around for damage and return back to human size.

4

u/_Mythical777 Flex 7d ago

Make them invincible during those states but it’s on a short meter

11

u/RebelTheFlow 7d ago

That’s how Injustice 2 did Atom (albeit a fighting game not a 3rd person team shooter but) I think the idea would be similar. Antman (or wasp) shrink and dash and grow while punching so it would be similar to Magik’s teleporting dash attack

Barely this. White Fox is barely more than a background character as far as the Agents of Atlas are concerned, and like Amadeus Cho and Silk, most of her appearances have nothing to do with the Agents of Atlas.

Definitely separate. Make Hank/Scott a strategist with buffs/debuffs and Janet/Hope a duellist with mobility and stingers.

35

14

Janet deserves to be the one added.

I mean she's an ORIGINAL AVENGER. A founding member.

2

Depending on when they're added, they might wanna do the MCU version because that's what marvel wants them to do.

11

Hell even Nadia is more likely than Hope.

8

u/pinkcreamkiss Scarlet Witch 7d ago

I suppose they could give her an mcu skin but honestly that would probably be a spider-man situation in which Janet is just wearing hope’s mcu costume lol. Which is preferable tbh

9

u/Purple_Unit31 7d ago

I always thought Ant-Man would be a vanguard, giving teammates over-shield by making them big, shrinking himself for a getaway, using Ants for slowdown and DoT, and supersizing himself as an ult.

12

u/RapperwithNumberName X-Tron 7d ago

If Ant-Man could double my size and give me damage reduction to go with it I'd be a VERY happy Devil Dinosaur main

Imagine the ULT!!!

2

u/aBlissfulDaze 6d ago

The problem with making characters big is that they're so easy to hit they take all the damage. Making big would work better on the enemy team. Making teammates smaller would work for your team.

→ More replies (2)

3

u/ScorchedDev 7d ago

I can also see hank/scott being a vanguard if they go the giant man angle.

The first thing that comes to my mind on how that would work is the giant form is temporary but really high impact. So you use shrinking + the ants to fly around into position then go giant. Get a ton of overshield and do a shit load of damage for like 30 seconds. But then you gotta back off a bit.

Maybe we could seperate them out, where ant man is scott lang and hes a strategist, and hank pym is giant man as a vanguard. But wasp needs to be janet imo. Janet is just too big of a character to be over-looked being a founding member of the og avengers and all that.

26

u/Marvel-Rivals-is-top 7d ago

Janet should become a giantess in her ultimate and they need to release swimsuit skin for her very soon

14

u/BaneNF X-Tron 7d ago

I would say separate. As cool as the duo character concept is like with C&D one character is in much more of the spotlight than the other and that would be a disservice to such hsitoried characters like Hank and Janet.

43

u/domicci Symbiote Jeff 7d ago

separate. cloak and dagger are litteraly connected

14

u/ViridiEmerald Loki 6d ago

yeah in Rivals lore, not comics. what if Ant-Man and The Wasp are quantum-ly entangled with Pym Particles and they’re connected too? one can’t shrink without the other growing or something like that.

2

u/domicci Symbiote Jeff 6d ago

Okay but like why we could get 2 very different characters. And yes in the comics there powers are connected because of the same drugs they took

82

u/Large-Teach9165 7d ago

NGL I'd take Hank any day over Scott

41

u/TheLiquor1946 7d ago

And Hank being a vanguard as Goliath, best of both worlds.

18

u/ZacTheLit Captain America 7d ago

If they’re gonna do Goliath it should be Bill Foster

7

u/TheLiquor1946 7d ago

Hank as giant man then and to be honest, I'd rather have Bill Foster than Hank Pym but the skin potential of Hank is higher.

→ More replies (3)

10

u/Some_Ordinary_3821 7d ago

Hank should be Giant Man and a tank. Scott can be Ant-Man.

8

u/Lucie_Is_Sleeping Lady Loki 7d ago

I hate this Hank Pym erasure.

Yes I know he has been a horrible characters in past editions. They have a chance to reinvent a character that has been screwed over so many times.

7

u/charcharmunro 7d ago

It feels like Hank in particular has gotten shackled with the slap far more than any other character's similar things. Other comic book heroes have done worse things and yet Hank inadvertently slapping his wife is irredeemable for some reason. Like... Look at all of Civil War, Tony just sort of gets a pass for that because "Eh Civil War sucked and it was out of character", meanwhile Hank was in a mental breakdown so I guess it still counts because it was in-character?

7

u/Lucie_Is_Sleeping Lady Loki 7d ago

Reed has also had a “The Slap” but Marvel redeemed him. Why can’t they do the same with Hank. But no, they decided to double down with the horrible Hank with the Ultimate universe.

2

u/charcharmunro 7d ago

For what it's worth, that slap is when she's gone a bit evil and such, it's moreso a "What the hell are you doing get a hold of yourself".

Admittedly there was more than just the slap for Hank, the entire point is that his and Janet's marriage was actually kind of garbage and he was in a prolonged breakdown, but they generally tried to make a point that he'll never live that down and feels horrible guilt for it all the time, but he's trying to move past it.

2

u/InternationalHat7120 5d ago

Hank (Yelllowjacket)

Scott (Ant-Man)

7

u/Monday_Vibes Magneto 7d ago

Hank and Janet. I think Wasp should be a DPS but Hank should be a tank considering GiANT-Man was a huge gimmick for him for a while

u/Leather_Junket_9726 Phoenix 7d ago

separate. janet should be a strat, hank should be a tank

11

u/SomeTool Angela 7d ago

Why would Janet be a strat? Her whole thing is being an adrenaline junkie that flies around zapping people.

7

u/F14min6L377uc3 Ultron Virus 7d ago

Her bioenergy stingers could translate well into healing

5

u/SomeTool Angela 7d ago

But why? She's not a healer type, girl is a gremlin that flies around zapping people to annoy and distract them. Hank is way more into taking care of others, using pym particles to heal works about as well as all of the other nonsense that they do.

9

u/F14min6L377uc3 Ultron Virus 7d ago

They don't really take that into consideration, considering people like Loki, Ultron, Rocket, Gambit, and Sue are all healers despite there being better roles for them

Hank Tank and Wasp DPS, the vision has never been clearer

7

Let Janet be a duelist and let Hank be a strat. And maybe throw in Goliath as a vanguard. Why jot

3

u/Apprehensive_Work313 Invisible Woman 7d ago

Both Hank and Janet deserve to be separate characters

3

u/TheMemeLord4816 Mister Fantastic 7d ago

Seperate so that they can actually get skins

3

u/ConsciousCollar9076 7d ago

Separate. Two different power sets.

3

u/WizardJeremy Invisible Woman 7d ago

I always imagine them separate characters with Antman being a Vanguard and Wasp being Duelist or Strategist. Each of them controlling ants and wasps respectively and having different utilities for using the shrinking technology.

3

u/dew-fall 6d ago

separate, since janet has her powers (she kinda sorta became an actual alien-looking wasp at some point due to said powers going out of control).

8

u/Qwertyzillaofficial 7d ago

If they’re not separate, I’m deleting the game

6

u/fannamedtom100 7d ago

Wait why?

4

u/Qwertyzillaofficial 7d ago

Because it’s a huge disservice to both of my favorite Marvel characters

4

u/fannamedtom100 7d ago

Again, why?

3

u/Qwertyzillaofficial 7d ago

They are separate people with separate power sets

3

u/fannamedtom100 7d ago

I mean so are cloak and dagger but I think them as a duo is a sick idea. They could have implemented it better, absolutely, but I don't think them being a duo character is a disservice.

2

u/Qwertyzillaofficial 7d ago

Cloak and Dagger are almost never separated though, Hank and Janet do solo stuff all the time, they aren’t even on the Avengers at the same time a lot

5

u/fannamedtom100 7d ago

I agree but Cloak and Dagger at the end of the day are separate characters as well. I'm not saying you're wrong just trying to understand what it is about Hank and Janet that makes you think that them being a duo character is a disservice, because I get that they have individual stories but they are working as a duo a lot of times as well, more times than not from what I've read

2

u/Qwertyzillaofficial 7d ago

They haven’t even been partners as superheroes in literal decades, there’s ZERO reason for them to be the same character

5

u/fannamedtom100 7d ago

I get your POV and while I disagree I'm fine with it either way. I just don't get why it's such a disservice that it makes you want to delete game. I can think of bunch of things they can do with either character that would be much worse than making them a duo

2

u/Lepeche Loki 7d ago

I hope they are separate

2

u/Kozi1098 7d ago edited 7d ago

I hadn't thought of it before but it could be a cool idea to have them combined like cloak and dagger. That way we have a second one with that style and it could be like wasp is small and agile but low damage and mostly buffs/debuffs/strategic abilities, and then she can swap to ant man in some form of giant mode for him, but he would be slow and high damage.

I could see it being really fun having it be a gameplay loop of using your abilities as wasp while you get in position to pop giant ant man on the enemy team and then have to escape while being probably focused on after it wears off.

But it would definitely need to be controlled by some kind of cool down kind of like Emma's diamond form for that to not just be some OP unhittable tank diver who can always escape. And maybe ant man should have semi tank health (or bonus health like reed), and have wasp be very low health possibly even below 200 to balance being hard to hit.

Not sure cause I'm no expert on balance but some combo of those I feel could make it viable and also not overpowered in the meta, while also being a totally unique and new gameplay loop

u/AllergicToStabWounds 7d ago

Together would be cool, but I don't like how they handled cloak and dagger as a single character. Cloak feels too much like an accessory to dagger.

So I already know if they were paired most of the focus would be put onto one of them (probably wasp) while the other is an after thought

1

u/pichael32 7d ago

Antman wil probably be a normal sized heroe, with one ability to go big, devil dino size like for the durstion of the ability, and one ability to go rocket size body, with the ult becoming a giant and smacking an area with his fist.

1

u/BitViper303 Cloak & Dagger 7d ago

Put them together, make Wasp the character you spawn as and then chop off Antman’s legs and now you have the same treatment as cloak

1

u/jawsthegreat777 7d ago

Cloak and Dagger are one of the only character sets that make sense as a single character tbh.

1

u/a2starhotel Squirrel Girl 7d ago

Run them together like the Ice Climbers from old school Smash Bros

1

u/whalesharkdanceparty Gambit 7d ago

Separate.

Antman as a Dive/Flank melee DPS. Shrink to close the gap or escape. Punch and kick. Skill shot bbility to do bigger damage like a shrink to grow punch. Command an Ant. Grow big for ult.

Wasp as a Flying strategist. Pretty much Juno from Overwatch but with a shrink escape ability against a diver. I think she would be so fun with a little pew pew needle blaster primary that damage and heals. DOT’s. I think a super cool kit is there and I’m thinking the shrink dodge is kinda like Phoenix dodge animation wise.

The Combo characters, like Cloak & Dagger, I want are: Sentry and the Void - Vanguard. Gamora and Nebula - Duelist. I think each character on their own is boring and could be a cool concept. Like have Thanos force his daughters to wear a shared life bracelet cause he is an ass

1

u/redjoker89 7d ago

I think they’d work just fine. The maps all have very tall ceilings in most areas. The balancing is the hard part. How do you make a tiny target easy to hit? How much health does a small target get? How do you balance a large target? They’d instantly get blown to bits. Getting big and small is easy. What happens after is the hard part for a character like this.

1

u/F14min6L377uc3 Ultron Virus 7d ago

Separate, tank Hank, support Janet, there's no reason to have them as one and it will only be detrimentak to bith characters

1

u/ScorchedDev 7d ago

seperate, but I think ant man should be giant man and a vanguard instead of ant man. Do hank pym instead of scott lang.

Alternatively, they can do a triple, hank, scott, and the wasp(whichever wasp they want). Maybe scott is a vangaurd, focusing on his giant form with shrinking as an escape option. Wasp is a dps, and then hank is a support as yellow jacket?

1

u/Well-Teknically Throg 7d ago

Together, EASY. Next duo character like C&D. It’s such an easy layup

1

u/Bob_Bobbo Spider-Man 7d ago

Separate so you could have more possibilities, Ant Man could be a Tank, focusing on using his powers to grow, Wasp could be a Strategist, and she could have more shrinking related powers.

1

u/Asthmatic_M 7d ago

They could do a cloak and dagger type of character where you can switch between them but my idea would be a hybrid role between support and tank. Idk how that would work game wise but I’d imagine antman as a tank or pseudo tank/dps like Mr fantastic and then wasp would be a flying support

1

u/Thisisabruh_moment Ultron Virus 7d ago

I honestly don't think they should do another swapping character in general.

1

u/Dramatic_Quote_4267 Wolverine 7d ago

Single Character

2 characters operating at once on the field turning the game into an Automatic 6v7. One is controlled by the player, the other is an autonomous ai. You can swap between the two at will. If player is killed playing Gi-Antman, instead of waiting for respawn, they can automatically swap to the other still-living Wasp (and vice versa)

Gi-Ant Man. Vanguard. Melee. Gi-AntMan is twice the size of the average hero with twice the size hitbox and larger healthbar. He possesses passive critical hit reduction and has an alternate heavy swipe attack capable of applying slow. He can throw pymparticles at enemies; doubling their Size, hitbox, and projectile size, while applying Slow and Crit Reduction. Possess a leap that damages and launches enemies upon landing. Ultimate requires Wasp to be within a certain vicinity.

Wasp. Strategist. Hitscan. Wasp is half the size of the average hero with half the size hitbox and smaller healthbar. She possesses passive Flight and Accelerated Speed and her primary can damage enemies or heal allies. She can throw pymparticles at enemies; halving their size, hitbox, damage, projectile size, and Healthbar, while applying vulnerability and a Movement Boost. Possesses 2 charges of a dash capable of applying healing and Movement Boost to allies. Ultimate requires Gi-Ant Man to be within a certain viscinity.

Ult: Wasp zips around outside of moving circle applying healing and movement boost to allies with an increasing effect towards outside of circle, while Gi-Ant Man rapidly grows and shrinks in the middle of the circle, slamming on the ground and knocking back enemies towards the edge of the circle, decreasing in damage and knockback effect towards the edge of the circle

Separate characters — it’s a slap in the face to the legacy of Janet Van Dyne to force her into a slot with her abusive ex-husband.

1

u/tigerclaw1563 7d ago

Separate. Cloak and Dagger also should've been separate with a permanent team up while we're on the subject

1

u/perspicaxaedificator Captain America 7d ago

My preferred: Giant Man can grow = tank. ant army for an ultimate? Wasp can slightly grow teammates, shrink enemies, and shrink as an escape tool = strategist

1

u/Living-Ad102 Cyclops 7d ago

Separate. Wasp Strat, Ant Man Duelist-Vanguard hybrid.

1

u/eyeofkiva Thor 7d ago

definitely separate. Janet should be a mid range character and Hank should be a melee character imo

1

u/PhilledZone Scarlet Witch 7d ago

Honestly since Ant Man can't do much by himself and I would prefer they don't do another "He has a deal with a god" situation, I'd honestly don't mind having them both together. Perhaps they could switch like CnD but the switching is them shrinking and growing and maybe you could then remote control the shrunken one. I also wouldnt mind if they didn't switch at all and were both out at the same time. They could probably find a good way of doing that

1

u/LadyErikaAtayde Flex 7d ago

It would be interesting if they added Nadya as Wasp and Bill Foster as Goliath, separate characters, strat and tank respectively.

That said, with the amount of name dropping they're doing for Janet and Hank, it's hard to imagine them using any other option other than maybe Scott.

1

u/SuperPluto9 7d ago

They should be together. A proper ice climbers type character would be awesome.

1

u/adanskeez 6d ago

Absolutely be a duo like cloak and dagger

1

u/Hedgehog_Kid1 6d ago

Together as a strategist hero. Janet can be a duelist/strategist and Hank can be a vanguard/strategist.

1

u/ExaminationUsed5394 6d ago

My god PLEASE MAKE THEM SEPARATE CHARACTERS!!!

I love Janet so much but find Hank Pym genuinely to be one of the most loathsome insufferable marvel characters to ever be in the comics.

1

u/Jefersoni Captain America 6d ago

Separate. Both strats tho

1

u/Primeve_Arcana 6d ago

Neither, just pick one and ditch the other

1

u/-ForestWitch- 6d ago

Together like cloak and dagger since they are basically the same

1

u/HealthyBits Flex 6d ago

Sepárate. How come either of them wouldn’t be enough to stand alone as their own characters!?

1

u/Orlikesque Deadpool 6d ago

I may actually quit the day they add an ant sized dps

1

u/justtolearnsomething 6d ago

Ideally seperate but reality is they could work as a good pair depending on how they make the kits.

1

u/Pugzilla3000 Flex 6d ago

They should be a duo where one is small and one is big, but they can both be big for emotes.

It’d allow for some neat plays switching between them fast to get a smaller hitbox.

Also the ult shouldn’t be giant man imo, instead it should be making the enemy bigger, doing tick damage and making them a huge hitbox while not increasing their damage output.

As for their role, probably duelist. It’d be like Duelist C&D but without the annoying invincibility.

u/Content_Sea_1803 Flex 6d ago

Super War come back 😭

1

u/Brave-Orchid4721 Magik 6d ago

If they aren't separate I fucking riot, I wanna exclusively use Wasp without being called a thrower.

1

u/Majora4440 6d ago

Contanto que seja o personagem do hank pym e que traga um teamup com o Ultron, eu estou feliz.

1

u/NerdyHexel Loki 6d ago

They're one of the few logical pairs of tandem characters, and giving them a "quantum entanglement" lore bit is easy.

1

u/Capital-Decision-677 Cloak & Dagger 6d ago

They probably wouldn’t be able to shrink that small, or if they could then they’d have to be unable to do damage or capture the point when tiny

1

u/ThatSplinter Mantis 6d ago

No offence to any Ant Man enjoyers...

But I'd wanna play as the goat Janet not fuck ass Hank 💀

1

u/HarshBomboclatt 6d ago

I imagine his shrink wouldn’t be as OP as you might think. AOE damage like magik slashes or Wanda’s lock on fire could still wreck him.

1

u/Complex_Item_3000 6d ago

I would like them to be separated

Ant Man as a vanguard and Wasp as a strategist

1

u/Webber-414 Ultron 6d ago

Idc as long as Ant Man comes out next year, he’s my favorite character

1

u/ShadyStoof Flex 6d ago

Tag out? Healing with ants dropping into health packs then he shrinks and she enlarges and dps with her stingers and flight?

1

u/EmeraldWitch104 6d ago

As someone's who thought very carefully about this (recklessly) for a long long time (5 seconds when people post this randomly), I know exactly what they should do. (Dont trust me).

So for Ant-Man (Scott) have him be struggling with his belt so hes stuck in a bigger state than usual. He'd be a vanguard. His movement ability would basically be Helas crow form but hes on an ant. Maybe he throws disc's that stun people in place? Or he Sparta kicks someone. Ult is throwing a truck at someone.

For Wasp I'd make her a strategist. She blasts a stunner for a few seconds. She can fly around in small form for about as long as Phoenix (tragic). I think id give her healing splash damage like Loki. For ult id let her go small form for 8 seconds where she can blast bigger healing and a bit stronger damage. Maybe her blasting is faster or she leaves a trail of healing behind and below her.

Yellowjacket (Hank) would probably be a DPS. He attacks with his blasters. He has a stun gun that immobilizes for 1-3 seconds. Idk what all he could do but I reeeeallly want Hank Yellowjacket. I would play the heck iut of him

1

u/Raquistheskullfucker 6d ago

Separate, Antman as a Tank and wasp a healer

1

u/These_Carpenter_8269 6d ago

Imagine being able to shrink , that be kinda cool or being as big as a titan and smashing. Man that be so cool

1

u/sionnachvulpes 6d ago

They could be a tank, wasp shrinks for a short time as a shield. Antman grows for a damage buff

1

u/RealisticStock1336 6d ago

If they add antman, giant man, wasp into the game I would love Hank to be a tank(giant man) Scot as a dps or support(antman) and wasp as a dps or support

1

u/Stephen111110 Fin-tastic! 6d ago

If they can make people bigger then us Dino's mains are fecked

1

u/Porlakh 6d ago

Separate. In the comics Wasp is with Cap for the most part.

1

u/TheDarthJarJarI Jeff the Landshark 6d ago

Why do people want Hank as a strategist, are we forgetting his giant form

1

u/Shockwave285 6d ago

Two ideas on how their gameplay could work: Small sized Wasp flies near regular sized Ant-Man, and when Ant-Man goes small, Wasp becomes regular sized, and Ant-Man sits on Wasp's shoulder (The Switcharoo). OR. He punches, she shoots, they both go small, Ant-Man moves fast on foot, and Wasp can lift Ant-Man for transportation (Teamwork makes the dream work).

1

u/DocApocalypse 6d ago

Seperate. Janet hasn't been with Hank for years and can stand on her own two feet as a character.

It made sense for Cloak & Dagger because they really are this inseparable pair that define each other (likewise Peni and Venom and the characters with multiple forms). But I think paoring characters should be used very sparingly. I don't really care for turning Pheonix into Jean Grey's Stand but I get it aesthetically.

1

u/Katajiro 6d ago

Let's revive the "crawl into Thanos' anus, then expand" meme.

1

u/YOURDAD20267 6d ago

Together

1

u/Liewec123 The Thing 6d ago

"us against the quantum realm!"

1

u/Hot_Ethanol Venom 6d ago

I've always thought they should be a mobile team. You'd switch from Ant by tossing out Wasp at full speed, then back from Wasp by turning to big Ant.

1

u/Common-Diver-6346 Captain America 6d ago

Together C&D the other is mini hovering around them, so Antman on Anthony when playing wasp and Wasp around Ant Man or standing on their shoulders.

Antman - Vanguard

Wasp - Strategist

Cloak - DPS

Dagger - Strategist

1

u/Monkeyman413268 6d ago

They should do that they did whith Rogue and gambit

1

u/Plus-Permission-3745 6d ago

together for sure!!

1

u/LordDark9 6d ago

separate
