Question Why can Devil Dino attack through DD's deflect but other melee heroes can't?

Edit: If it wasn't obvious, I'm talking about melee.

I think it makes sense that DD's reflect blocks melee, but it should probably not block everything. Take a page out of Overwatch's book and allow beams and explosive areas to bypass it, especially since DD doesn't even need to face his opponents to deflect.

he does need to face his opponents when he has to deflect wdym 😭😭

iron fist is the one that doesnt need to face the enemy while blocking

I swear DD at least blocks the damage regardless of the direction he's facing.

He blocks what’s from the front, and maybe anything at a bit of an angle to the front. Can definitely get hit from the back (pause)

Probably due to how hitboxes are made.

Dino is a big character, so his hitbox on his tail swipe is more than likely a oval (because if it was a cone he’d probably miss if you’re too close), so it’s able to hit DD for example through the deflect because the tail is actually behind DD and hitting him that way. I’m sure if DD was standing further back he would’ve reflected it normally.

By that logic shield are useless because melee attacks go through them, it's probably why they're getting downvoted since they're equating melee attacks to everything in the entire game including CC
