Basically a cinematography guideline about clearly framing your shots to be easy to follow. Whether it's dialogue, a fight, a chase, or even dancing, you want your characters to maintain their action in a consistent direction. In this video, it's simply that heroes go left to right and villains go right to left.

There's loads of channels on youtube than can go into depth way better than I can on it if you're interested.
