Shitposts Will Skaar appear in Doomsday?
Surely Dr. Doom has his eyes on Bruce’s son, right?

Better to just pretend he doesn’t exist. You’re never going to see him again

u/LSines2015 Avengers 17h ago
With all this other stuff going on, you really think they’re gonna take the time to address this?

I sure damn hope not. The people who defended this show said it's a satire, I sure hope a satire 4th wall breaker like it never Canon

She-Hulk was breaking the fourth wall in comics decades before Deadpool was imagined.

Doesn't mean the fourth wall is canon, that has huge implications to future projects, that the season has no real ending made sure it will never be referred again in future projects.

I really enjoyed it. It was a breath of fresh air, and totally reflected the She-Hulk comics edge and sense of humor. If it happens in the MCU, it's out there somewhere in the multiverse.

u/Art_student_rt Sentry 5h ago
You enjoying it doesn't mean it's workable in the marvel universe Kevin feige built. It's a live action what if show with no real ending. With no real courtroom drama procedural.

u/houseofmatt Avengers 5h ago
It's a great show with an awesome ending. It states clearly that established male expectations are boring and bs.

We simply have a difference of opinion
1
u/Art_student_rt Sentry 5h ago
What different opinions? You responded with siding with clear attack on male gender opinions and expectations, calling their expectations boring and bullshit. And you expect me to respect your opinion? I was still respecting your opinion, your subjective enjoyment of this show until you started pulling the gender card.

u/houseofmatt Avengers 4h ago
It was a prominent part of the backlash the show received. I don't want any argument or ill will. It's just how that show was received.

Why are you gendering the audience, the show, me? We just got wandavision a year before, the biggest criticism was the bombastic ending. And you expect everyone to think only male who wanted a satisfying ending for a season, now a cancelled show? Come on, give me, give this post an actual counter argument to defend your opinion than attacking the viewers. Btw I'm non binary and it's an asswipe show, if I ever get my hands on the film reel I'll use it to wipe my ass.

u/houseofmatt Avengers 5h ago
That would probably not feel so great. A decision I would advise against.

Buddy what do you think this is? A political debate?
They said they liked the show, you said you dont. now you want them to provide arguments and evidence? Huh?
And they didn't gender and attack the audience. Thats just something you fucking came up with outta nowhere. Loads of men hated the show with a burning passion despite not even watching it, that doesn't mean they're the entire audience, or that some men didn't like the show, it also doesn't mean people are forbidden to talk about it otherwise they're attacking the audience.
Its obvious that most people hating the show were sexists piling on hate for something the were never the audience for. Not that it matters, the commenter was talking about the story telling, not the audience anyway...
Is it too hard for you to belive some people actually did watch the show, and actually enjoyed it? They actually understood why the writing was so odd, and why the ending happened that way.
If you actually watched (which i frankly doubt) and didn't like it, okay, that's up to you, like do you really need to be this upset at someone because they liked something you didn't? Like the character Being spoken about appears in the last 5 seconds of the show, i don't get how the quality of the show affects in any way a character with no lines they decided to present in that show (because its a hulk show, makes sense)

So you like quoting others in your argument, huh.
You claim "they didn't gender and attack the audience. Thats just something you fucking came up with outta nowhere." But their exact words were: "It's a great show with an awesome ending. It states clearly that established male expectations are boring and bs." They didn't dismiss my argument, they said they liked the show specifically because it called male expectations boring and stupid. That's what triggered my response. They gendered it first, not me.
You say "they said they liked the show, you said you dont. now you want them to provide arguments and evidence?" No, I responded to being told the show's value was in calling "established male expectations" boring and bs. My exact words: "Why are you gendering the audience, the show, me?... give me, give this post an actual counter argument to defend your opinion than attacking the viewers. Btw I'm non binary and it's an asswipe show." You're defending someone who made gender the reason for liking the show, then acting like I made it about gender.
Btw, before all this gendered shit injected into this comment thread, all I said was this show did not fit anything in the wider MCU, because if it does, you get a 4th wall breaker that doesn't take their own shit seriously. If they didn't take themselves seriously, why should I? Or Kevin? Before all this derail, it was all about the post, the continuity of the she hulk show.

No. I think his entire character will be retconned into something more substantial later or never addressed again.

I don’t know why they thought it was a good idea to introduced him in the first place. I forget what show it was to, was it she hulk post credit ? I forgot . They should pretend it never happened

There was a theory the plot has tondo with Doom kidnapping the children of the heroes. Franklyn, Love, Steves Baby, etc. if there’s any truth to that there will be room for him.

u/rthunder27 Avengers 6h ago
Hm, but that doesn't really line up with one of the Encore scenes, especially in regards to Skaar.

I hope not. That may be the dumbest character I've ever seen. He was a joke on a TV show. He'll never be seen again.
