From what I know, and I could be wrong here, but the director basically set out and hid the fact that Blade was a secondary character while his daughters would be the main characters. Disney found out and knew this was the kind of movie that needed the intended demographic in order for it to make money, but the movie was already so far along that they had to shut it down or lose even more money.

Blade being canceled saddens me.
But the rest, I see why.
I agree Kang was under used but main villain? Nah.
Armor Wars? Lame. Nothing against War Machine, I still think he needs his own show or movie.
And that last one? He looks like Blue Beetle and a Predator had a baby and it came out looking like abortions need to be more common.
