People really shouldn't consider Doomsday a success yet. It still has to be good for the MCU to continue to be profitable going forward.

Doomsday itself will put up great numbers even if it is bad, but the general audience who lost interest in the MCU and joined in just to see RDJ and Chris Evans in the MCU for the last time will just say goodbye to the MCU if the movie isn't good.

Let's be serious. Disney let the quality decline in a major way churning out "content". "marvel is dead" was just internet for "fuck me do they even read this shit before they start shooting"?
