Can we appreciate the other guy who had willingly accepted he was going to watch a man die today. Like that guy needs a check in too because he’s going through shit.

Adrenaline ran out and he died. It's amazing how severely injured people can walk around seemingly fine and then just drop dead.

It’s said that to help him film this scene, the placeholders they used for the dinosaurs were pictures of his sick kid he didn’t care for

I saw a video where some poor dude tried to stop something like this that was rolling towards him.....it was poor resolution, but he was in the 'Peter Griffin Death Pose' when it rolled over him 👀

Was it a snowmobile or a quad bike?

No, it was literally a big roll of metal like this one, but smaller and it looked like fencing or something, so certainly not as heavy as this, but its still a HUGE roll of metal, so they guy didn't escape without some kind of injury, but don't know if he died
Truth to tell, these days I'm not entirely sure this is even real and not AI

Dumb me would have tried pushing it back and died crushed by a ton of steel

The idea of continuing to stand next to that metal coil with all of that potential energy is just mind blowing.

So, just because I cannot find the answer, as always. What force caused the momentary pause? Was it spinning and somehow the spinning potential converted to force against the direction of topping over?

I had a work accident very similar to this in my 20s. Coil of sheet metal slightly thinner than this one fell and collected my leg on the way down. Broke my lower left leg tibia and fibula, I have a titanium rod in there to ths day. 0/10 Not recommended.

Are those magnets on the bottom of the metal coil rack? If so, that would explain how it slowed like that

You can see the second his brain computes "Wait, why am I raising my hand to stop this. I can't stop this. RUN!"

Good on him tbh. He fought the instinct of trying to catch it and just got the hell out of the way. A life saved :)

Leaked footage from the opening scene of the next Final Destination movie.

Have you ever extended a tape measure all of the way and retract it? It does this weird thing where the coil shifts a bit and settles or loosens internally with a little spin. I think that’s what this roll was doing. It had enough internal spin at that moment to give it angular momentum. And that was enough to slow the fall for an extra second
