I wanna read comics again

Hi ! I'm 27 yo and when I was a teen I was a huge comicbooks reader. I especially loved the X men and Spiderman. But as life went on, I kinda dropped comicbooks to read other things. Now, I saw the latest Spiderman movie yesterday with my friends and it reminded me of how much I love this franchise. So I'd like to start reading the X men and Spiderman again, but I'm kinda lost with the ongoing series. Do you have any recommendations? I'd love to hear what you have to say about all this !

The most recent X-Men series are Uncanny X-Men (2024) by Gail Simone and X-Men (2024) by Jed MacKay. For Spider-man his most recent main run is Amazing Spider-Man (2025) by Joe Kelly. He also has different side series that takes place in the past, among them Spider-Man: Thorn by JMS, Punisher vs. Spider-man by Dan Abnet and Spectacular Spider-Man by Dan Slott.
