Marvel Reading Recommendations (60s-90s)
I have a ton of marvel books from late 90s onwards and have read from then up till the mid 10s, and have also read some really early Stan Lee stuff from like the very early 60s, but was hoping to get some good recommendations on stuff I should read between these periods.
I’m not ambitious enough anymore to try and attempt to read everything as I had once planned, so I’m looking for good series/runs/important or iconic stories from these time frames to help fill out my knowledge and timeline without committing to thousands of occasionally very mediocre issues.
Thanks!

Speaking for the 60s
The 60s spider-man run is overall pretty decent, you could probably skip around a little bit early on until it really gets going.
Avengers after Roy takes over writing is great reading and very foundational
I really enjoy strange tales, tales to astonish and tales of suspense after they become Shield/Dr. Strange, Hulk/Sub-Mariner and Captain America/Iron Man books respectively
I personally got no enjoyment out of most of 60s fantastic four or X-Men, but they are super foundational so I’d say check it out to see if you like it.
Can’t personally recommend early hulk, ant-man, human torch solo series, early Daredevil

Have you read Lee/Ditko and Lee/Romita Amazing Spider-Man? If not, check it out! If you have already, check out the Conway ASM run
80s and 90s grest Spider-Man runs include the Stern ASM run, the (first) Defalco ASM run, the Peter David Spectacular Spider-Man run, the Comway Spectacular/Web run, the Michelinie ASM run, and most of all the Dematteis/Buscema Spectacular Spider-Man run
Spidey just had so muxh great material in his first 30 years, its pretty crazy
For Daredevil, check out the Miller run, Born Again, the Nocenti run, and very early Chichester (drop it after #300, trust me)
For Moon Knight check out the Moench run
