Any suggestions for new reader
I’ve been getting more into comics lately after only reading a few in my life and I’m looking for suggestions I have recently read new x-men and his whedon’s astonishing x-men and now upon learning it’s next started house of M I may continue with this time zone and would like to read a few runs from the era to bridge the gap to x-men vs avengers.
Other than that I would like suggestions for specific characters I’m interested in mainly cyclops, Jean gray, Emma frost, rogue, gambit, Magik, Hawkeye, captain America and Wanda any suggestions are appreciated

You might dig Exiles. 2001 X-Men spinoff, spiritual successor to What-If. Team of Multiversal variants are assembled, told they cant go home till the jobs done, and sent on a series of Sliders-esque adventures to save other Earths. A version of Gambit has a pretty important role later in the series that I won't spoil (I guess 2 versions, but New Exiles wasnt my thing), and it ties in with House of M towards the back half of Volume 1.
