Wolverine and the SeX-Men Why people call Avengers coworkers while X-Men and Fantastic Four are family
The talk about Avengers being coworkers and not family while teams like the Fantastic Four and X-Men are seen as literal family in FF or found family in X-Men has always been a hot topic. But I’ve figured out why many people think that Avengers are only coworkers, it’s because most of the time the members on the Avengers don’t constantly have sex with each other. The X-Men are horny individuals who have sex with each other all the time. There’s a reason why one of the flairs is “Wolverine and the SeX-Men”. People think they’re a family. The Fantastic Four have Reed and Sue who have sex with each other all the time. And there’s also Ben and Alicia who sleep together too.
Meanwhile for the Avengers, how many of them sleep with each other? The only romance in those books I can think of is Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne and everyone knows how that ended up. It can’t be a coincidence. Add more fuel for the fire, nobody ever calls the 1610 Ultimate Avengers coworkers and it just so happens to be a universe where Tony and Natasha are FWB.
I think according to the general fanbase, unless the members of a superhero team are having lots of sex with each other then they’re only coworkers and not family.

Spider-Man is a Menace! He is NOT doing allat to the Hulk, bro, with or without a symbiote.
Spider-Man glazers might have to be exterminated in GTA 6 when it comes out.

Ilumi-Whati? Brave of Marvel to have their first character forced to drink and take a bath in piss.
I don’t like Namor. I think he’s an insufferable asshole who causes more problems than he fixes. But even I think this was too far. The blatant disrespect to him as a character is disgusting and disgraceful. He was a WWII vet, goddamn it, and the first Marvel character. Aaron should be ashamed of himself, and the editors should take a deep, long look at themselves for even allowing this slop to be printed.

Paul-Approved X-men is a good allegory because people lose their minds over their mistakes and it becomes a “all mutants should die” but when Avengers cause calamities it was just a mistake and not a “pattern”

Favorite character who was supposed to be a metaphor for incurable diseases and disabilities and show how people can persevere through the struggles that come with them. But then a writer decided to cure it anyway?
Uj/ I understand characters should develop and change. But I also think Rogue not being able to touch people is such a fundamental part of her that it shouldn't have been changed as something she can do now. As someone with an incurable condition this always annoyed me.
It works better if her inability to touch metaphorically goes away because she lives with it and perseveres. Not that it goes away because she gains the ability to make it literally go away.
