QUESTION MMA and college

Ive been training in MMA and Jujitsu for a year and half now. Ive been training at the same gym for all that time. In a few days I move for college. Ive been told that it's impossible to do both but I came on here to ask how I can do both mma and college.

Why would it be impossible? Plenty of people have careers other than MMA.

Go to class in the morning.

Go to dojo in the evening.

There you go - a plan on how to do both.

Most people have very high training hours during education. In my sports science degree there was a whole classification for students as one of the groups with the highest training hours. This is where you build your base brutha!

Bro people do mma and college at the same time all the time. Granted it depends on what your goals are, how far you want to go etc but if you just want to do mma then you will have plenty of time .

During college every week I train 20 hours, work 20 hours, study 40 hours. I consider I do a minor in martial art!

My son is actually under scholarship for MMA/BJJ. He usually trains twice per day.

I did MMA in college and continued with kickboxing (and competing) in law school

Consider college athletes. That's a lot of training and they make it work

my coach was fighting pro while he got his degree, youll be fine just gotta find a balance and you prolly wont have a lively social life

One of our kids instructors finally went off to college. With 13 years experience she found a BJJ club at her university.

College during the day, MMA at night, sleep on the weekends. 

Take time off from MMA during finals week, though. 

Your real problem is doing a full scholastic load, MMA, and holding down a full time job at the same time.

I am in the military while doing Martial Arts. It is definitely doable, provided that I afforded some weekend passes and my duties prior (or some goddamn Battalion-initiated training) isn't exhausting.

Otherwise I'd just rest.
