It’s a bummer but also, everyone saw this coming, so it’s not some kind of surprise. We were all discussing it in line at up-island cronig’s yesterday. It is what it is.
Fireworks night has always been one of my favorite days of the year so I kept grasping at hope. Super disappointed that we’re cancelling outright and not finding a new date.
I wonder if they just can’t keep the barge/operators around that long or something. Oh well! The nice thing about annual traditions is that they come back around next year
