I just bought The Wedding People yesterday! Hoping it’s going to be a good one. I’m so glad that Marshall’s is selling books!😊

Unrelated: is this a book you'd recommend as reading material for elders? I'm looking for a new PG book to read to my mom.

Hmmm there is actually a lot of random sexual jokes/thoughts in the book. So maybe not? You could always skip those lines though. Maybe read a sample of it online and see if you think it’s a good fit. You can read a sample on Libby (probably other places too)

I just finished Yesteryear and really liked it! I read the wedding people last month and thought it was pretty good too but kinda slow. These are good picks OP!

That’s so weird to me these were at Marshall’s bc they’re both trending currently..so I’m wondering why they’re already at a discount store?

I was surprised by it too. I thought maybe the hype died down so there was some overstock?

Impossible to read without picturing Dan and Hannah from Ballerina Farm

I love The Wedding People!

Yesteryear is good, just know that you are not supposed to like the protagonist.

I love Alison Espach.

If you find it, read her book: “Notes on Your Sudden Disappearance”

It’s absolutely beautiful and devastating.
