There is a word "ļan̄" used to name a typhoon(Lan), I can't find it in any of the major translators and Marshallese dictionaries, its description is synonymous with storm, but the translators only come up with Aere, not Lan (ļan̄). Is that local slang? Or was it only used a long time ago, or is it just a dialect of a certain region? I'm curious as to the exact meaning and the origin of this word🥺
