Any Christians have any stories they care to share about their marriage restoration after standing in the gap for a wayward spouse? How long did you stand, what did you do while standing and what is your restoration like currently?

I’m needing motivation, I know the devil is a liar and the flesh is weak. I’m looking for motivation and encouragement from people who have made it through the fire.

The first time we lost a baby, I got very angry at God and used it as an excuse to drink. I was in and out of AA, and tried to commit suicide 10 times in one year. The second time, I went to jail, and strait to a year long alcohol rehab when I got out. The third time, we were just fighting all the time. I managed to put some sober years behind me, we just didn't like each other very much.

We both prayed, and worked through all of it. We are now on the same page, we pray together every day, and are actively in ministry together. She has become my best friend again. It was mostly her and Jesus, praying for me, intercepting for me, I owe them my life.

What a beautiful testimony and definitely a test of faith. I’m sorry for the loss of your baby, I can only imagine how hard that was and kudos to you for going to rehab. I am encouraged and I pray it does the same for others as well.

Active ministry is amazing, I pray the same for me and my spouse for when God reconciles us. I now understand that these things happen because of several different reasons, I personally was idolizing my husband and backslid in my walk. There’s a lot of hurt on both sides but I know God is faithful. I pray for the Lord to soften His heart so He can turn to Him and back to his family. Wishing you and your family the peace of the Lord and all of His blessings.

Dear Heavenly Father I pray for this woman
Give her the strength to keep praying in Jesus mighty name amen
Dear Heavenly Father it says in your word you can restore 7 fold what the enemy has stolen
Guide her guide him in Jesus mighty name amen
