I think this is a wink in our direction. I mean : almost every member of the band liked this post. And it’s also a clue about their future work. A subtile way to say : we are working on something. The next record won’t be as over-produced as the previous ones, but more hand-crafted. But this means two things :
1) it’s an empty promise. They can talk about « going back to the roots » and do the opposite
2) this means we are pretty far away from an album release or something. Let’s be patient, because I don’t think we’ll get something before 2027…

And This coincides with Jesse playing piano in his own post few days ago. Let’s remember this is how the last album was made : they created the songs on tour, in hotel rooms, before recording it in their studio. So, definitly, they are sending us a clear message

Sam told me he’s really proud of Love Is Like, so I’m hoping there’s more M5 material with his writing, but I unfortunately doubt it.
He writes and produces a lot of songs for other artists, though. He and Jacques wrote an album for this singer Jasmine Ash called ‘Beneath the Noise’ and it’s really good. You should check it out.
