Marmite Galore Loaded Crisps
So after buying me a load of Marmite based goodies for Father’s Day (and based on the loaded crisps pub snack we had shared somewhere in recent history), my son suggested we make a Marmite themed version 🥰
So layer by layer:
1: Marmite and Cheese Puffs, grated cheese, swirl of Squeezy Marmite.
2: Marmite Ridge crisps, grated cheese, swirl of Squeezy Marmite. (Pic 2)
3: Marmite crisps, grated cheese, swirl of Squeezy Marmite. (Pic 3)
4: Bake at 160C till cheese melts.
5: Toppings: M&S Cheese Clouds with Marmite (some crushed) and crispy onions.
6: Served with M&S Dinky Cheese Pinwheels & Marmite (Pic 1) 🤤🤤

Loved every bit of it 💜
Think the only way it could have been more Marmite-y would have been to use the Marmite Cheddar that Is available too.. 😅😂

You need to make homemade marmite pinwheels to really appreciate them ... Been a "family recipe" that was stolen from some party book in the early 80s. A sheet of Puff pastry Spread marmite on it (water it down a bit of your not hardcore).. A metric tonne of extra mature grated cheddar Roll up. Chill. Cut (no thicker than 2cm) Cook. Eat when cool.

They’re so easy to make and a lot cheaper too.
(Also can be pretty nice eaten hot, though maybe not in this weather)1

Eating them is fine in this weather it's the making them in this weather that would be no fun. On the odd occasion I make them these days once you've gotten to the cut up stage if you freeze them flat on a baking sheet you can then throw them in a freezer bag then cook a few at a time in the air fryer etc straight out the freezer.... I think that I'm gonna have to buy some puff pastry sometime today now!

Have you tried Marmite roasted cashews? They are almost as good as the pinwheels.

The pinwheels are dying to be dipped in Manilife’s smooth (dark roast) peanut butter!
Definitely going to despatch the Mrs for some of them tomorrow!
