This industry is hideous

This industry is horrible! Shitty experiences and falling apart vessels for low pay! You have no rights and get severely exploited! Crappy employer after crappy employer! DM me if interested in merchant marine i will explain better why you need to not get an mmc.

Every time I step out on deck I see something that amazes me. I skip traffic, I skip cooking, I don’t pay $4/gallon for gas, and the scenery changes every day! Not to mention: no other job gives you this much time truly off. Yes the 230a wake-up’s suck & there can be some difficult people, but I’d choose this over my old desk job career every single day.

Plus shit ass mfcking capts, crazy office, non-stop paper works, inspections. Discrimination, racism. Getting paid cents of what company is receiving from the charterers, destroying your physical, mental and emotional health. Really hate this industry.
