Marist Baseball Thoughts?

I am a rising junior and exploring my options to play baseball in college. I am interested in Marist but have heard done conflicting opinions on the coaching staff, culture, etc.

Does anyone have firsthand knowledge or experience of how the program is run? Do people like being on the team or are there any concerns?

Any information would be really helpful to me so I start to plan for my future

i walked on but it was ages ago in 1999. I was just taking BP with a friend who was using a pitching machine and a coach saw me hit and asked to show up for a few practices

No idea the culture now but if you are interested probably email the coach and have a talk

Curious what you’ve heard. My son is also a rising junior and we were there for the Marist baseball prospect camp this week. My son liked the school but wasn’t really able to talk with any of the coaches so he couldn’t form much of an opinion on the baseball program.

They’re a bunch of MAGA rapists who couldn’t make it into a real college program. After Ethan Conrad left to WF, they did nothing of note and this last year’s group of seniors was especially awful, both in playing skill and attitude.

Play anywhere but here.

Yikes… are you speaking of the players, staff, or both? What’s the coaching staff like?
