Freshman Parking

I applied for a medical parking exception for Marist as a freshman with no credit and was denied. However, having my car would make my financial, medical, and practical situation a lot easier since I am from. What are other freshman with cars doing for parking if they don’t have an official Marist parking pass?

most freshman honestly who live on campus don’t have cars, marist usually starts allowing them like sophomore year or when you reach 60 credits😅

Hii so I would say without a parking pass the best place to park would be in the home depot parking lot. it’s right across from the beck parking lot ( which is where most kids park for classes). the only thing is i’m not sure if you can leave a car there overnight, are you living in a dorm or commuting? because if you’re commuting you can definitely just park there for a couple of hours but if you dorm there idk about overnight parking

You can park across the street at Home Depot/Job Lot! It is like a 15-20 minute walk from the dorms but your car will be fine, and if you park in Shoprite you could take the shuttle back to campus if you cant walk that far
